AA's previous headquarters complex up to about 3 years ago was on Amon Carter Blvd., a road built directly over the main N-S runway of GSW.
Bonus #3: Ah, it wasn't Norfolk and Western....and the railroad company in question operated a very iconic looking steam locomotive many years ago.

Bonus #4: Correct! And I believe a small remaining portion of the threshold of runway 18 of the former Greater Southwest International Airport can still be seen when one is on board a flight on final to DFW landing to the north on the east side of the airport. It's located just north of the State Route 183 freeway. I've seen it a number of times over the years while sitting in an "A" window seat ahead of the wing.
