I have my own issue with the "daily tidying" vs "daily housekeeping" but my biggest beef is properties that don't tell you that you need to opt-in for any services so they get to skimp a day when you come back and find out your room has no new towels or anything. I typically stay at premium brands or luxury but occasionally there's nothing but "Select" in areas and I guess I'll have to start choosing other brands.
