Does Korean Air allow luggage to be checked in through the connecting flight on Asiana if it’s on a separate ticket? I saw an article that Asiana and Korean Air signed an agreement to allow luggage to be checked through but couldn’t confirm this with a Korean air rep on the phone. My Korean air flight is Nagoya to Seoul, Asiana flight is Seoul to Seattle. I have 2.5h connection in Seoul, which is not enough time to exit security to collect and re-checkin luggage. I think the flights are also in different terminals in Seoul.
