Sorry, let me clarify...I am asking, since FUK to Itsukushima its 2.5 hours. If we spend just one night, it will be half a day there... do you recommend spending 2 days on Itsukushima (that would mean only 4 in Kyoto) or is 1 day on Itsukushima is enough, to give more time in Kyoto?

Other random questions: Do i need to get JRail pass ahead of time or can I do it when we land? Also, ferry from mainland to Itsukushima, how far out does it need to be booked?
