Not overly impressed with this property. The grounds and property are gorgeous. The breakfast spread is simply awesome and served in a gorgeous restaurant. However, they tried to deny our 4pm late checkout guarantee... when I said, let's call the Globalist line and ask them what the guarantee is - he relented and gave me 4pm. Not sure if they are considered a Resort - but it would seem to me they aren't (although I am not sure).

The worst issue re the hotel is the room. There is no wall between the room and the bathroom. Just a folding screen - which allows all noise to come through. Further we were upgraded to a room overlooking a beautiful lagoon (or so they kept saying every time I asked about the room). The problem is that this "lagoon" is like a Vegas Sunday DJ party. The noise from inside the room felt like a night club. And this went on all day long. Sitting on the balcony was impossible. Personally, I'd never return. The value simply isn't there with all the lovely high end options in Dubai.
