Long time lurker here but created a profile to share my experience with the Reclaim My Status program. I held Platinum Medallion from 2016-2019. In April of 2019 I took my last Delta flight and have not flown on any other carrier since. I was diagnosed in April with stage III(c) melanoma. I went through a 2 year long treatment and then it took my body over another year to get my back to normal. I am now ready to make up for these past few years. I filled out the form on the Delta site and it said "received". After about 2 weeks of nothing I contacted Delta via the IOS Messenger. After speaking with somebody they told me that it didn't show anything in the system. The rep told me they were sending me an email directly and to just reply with copies of my medical paperwork. This was last Thursday. I woke up this morning with an email letting me know that I was given back my Platinum status. Luckily I have a multi city vacation planned on the 20th and 2 other trips already booked in March. Hitting the numbers to keep the status won't be an issue. So this program might not be as easy to get as last year. But they are still doing it.
