Yep, and this is why I stopped renting these--too much hassle. You can fill up in 5 minutes on the way to a return and be done. No time wastage or hassles with billing.
meh, the time wastage isn't really a problem for me since i drive a model 3 as my daily driver, so i'm used to having to stop to charge if we take it on road trips (which we do a lot). i chalked up the $35 as acceptable because we probably would have spent at least that much if not more on gas had we needed to refill before dropping off.
i finally got my receipt today though, and i have no idea how they figured everything out (although it's less than i expected so i'm not going to question it). the supercharging isn't broken down on the receipt, nor is the refueling fee, but the total is less than i should have paid if you add up the original rental amount plus supercharging plus the $35 refueling fee. hell, it's less than the original amount plus $35, even.
