Try booking it and let me know. Have similar issues searching from LAX too and in a prior post I was able to book a flight that was supposedly phantom situation, but I ended up cancelling it due to finding a better routing

Is this real, or phantom space others have discussed above? If I book this, could I call and ask to drop the AS segments? If they can't drop the segments, could I just fly the HND-SFO leg and then leave the airport after clearing customs?
