I’m currently in PE and have entered a bid for J but I’m wondering if I’ve overbid. The minimum bid is $390. I initially bid $500 but recently upped it to $715. I can’t tell if this is me being frivolous or if i am overbidding.
Well, it all depends how may other folks you are competing with for upgrades. OneUp bids rank behind RecognitionUpgrades AirNZ gives its own status holders. There are only 4 biz seats remaining and the PE cabin is nearly full. But who knows how many AirNZ Silver/Gold/GoldElite pax there are in PE that have lodged upgrades? I'd guess a fair few.

Air NZ charges its GoldElites 890 Airpoint Dollars (~$US 565) for Elite Airpoint Dollar upgrades PE-J on that route, so that might be a ballpark figure - depending on pax load.
