at least you have in LHR a F lounge option, which does not exist at all for example in FRA and ZRH
rather surprised to read that temperature was so hot in the cabin as my experience is opposite
maybe the food is a problem of catering ex LHR?
the buggies are not gone, but maybe you arrived at a D gate close to the arrival halls, from where they never took buggies (I arrived just 3 days ago at C6 and was got a buggy)
