Thinking about this some more, it actually doesn't make sense to me. If they batch grant all the MM PPs in Jan, that would mean that if I hit 1K on PQPs later this year, I'll get 280 2024 PPs deposited right away, but still be waiting on the 40 Platinum PPs until January 2024, so they'll arrive out of order? Totally weird. It would make more sense to just allocate the PPs at the moment people cross the relevant threshold, whether that's by PQPs, crossing an xMM threshold, or for the LT status holders, on Jan 1 when they "achieve" the threshold for that year automatically by virtue of their LT status. Anyway, if anything changes, like if the PPs show up, or I bother to call and ask, I'll post an update here. Other people's first hand experiences welcomed of course!

Edited to add: maybe the 40 would show up when I crossed the Platinum PQP level even though I'm already "Platinum for 2024". Would make sense from a computer implementation point of view (PPs trigger on PQP thresholds unless threshold not reached, in which case they trigger at beginning of next year). Still a bit weird though in terms of the theoretical edge case of a Gold member achieving LT Plat but not being able to make use of the PPs till the following year.
