Yes, I'm already 1K, so I have my 2023 PPs. But normally when you cross Platinum by flying, you get the 40 PPs immediately, expiring the year after (i.e. so if I'd crossed Platinum by PQPs last week, I'd already have 40 PPs expiring Jan 2025). I thought it would be the same for MM Plats. But I can see how they might just process all the 2024 MM PPs in one big batch at the beginning of 2024, that makes sense. It would suck if you were an edge case that crossed 2MM with <= Gold status though. Would have to wait out the year as a Plat without being able to try out the PP upgrades! Maybe they don't really think Plats can even use their PPs these days anyway lmao.
