Interesting, I too applied on the 21st and did not hear anything back from Delta. My status dropped from Platinum to Silver. I will easily achieve Platinum this year but doing it as a silver is really difficult due to lack of Sky priority while traveling international. The Reclaim status just makes it easy for frequent travelers to regain status without much stress. I am going to reapply now that I see a data point of some one's application having not been received. I never received a confirmation from Delta which seemed a bit strange. It does not cost Delta anything to give a temporary 3 month status to an existing Medallion member who is given a 3-month challenge to meet to continue on the path back to their status. I have booked some Premium select international flights to overcome long check-in lines overseas to make up for lack of SkyTeam Elite plus. In my case, I did have a genuine health condition that restricted my travel. I have l5 future flight bookings in my profile so I should hit Gold in less than 3 months.
