Reward flight, cancel returns and splitting bookings.
Heading on a Europe RFS with some others which I booked for us on my avois but plans change and instead of going home from Heathrow one needs to go straight on a long haul (one way work thing). It's about a 2 hour connection T5-T5c.
Just need to check we're following the correct process.
Call BA and split the booking to give them a separate PNR.
Cancel the return portion of their flight. (avois refunded , £17.50 lost?)
Book the long haul to start from our Europe destination at the same time so they can travel on the same flight as us anyhow.
Travel.
What have I missed?
(the answer for anyone finding this later is yes. this is the process gone through with Customer services. hopefully it will work out)
