I guess I'll buck the trend and say that I prefer the slightly later flight that gets me in at 11 because I'm more likely to be able to grab a couple hours of sleep on the plane if my body thinks it's after midnight and a couple hours of sleep will be enough for me to be able to actually go do something that afternoon before I crash and have to call it an early night. Plus even if I can drop off my bags at the hotel while I wait for a room to be available I still don't really feel clean and refreshed until I can take a shower and change, and the later flight reduces the amount of time I have to wait for that after getting off the plane.
