  • HEL-SIN / SIN-HEL - website is charging a fee to select any available seats and an additional fee for the front row seats.
Unless my understanding is incorrect, Oneworld Sapphire should be able to select premium economy seats without paying on the HEL-SIN / SIN-HEL legs?
I had the same thing HEL-HND and i'm emerald. I got tired of the excuses the customer service people gave via the chat and over the phone. There is no rule published saying the seats are free that you can quote to them and they invent all kinds of excuses - it depends on the ticket, the quoted fee includes a discount for emerald card holders, seats are free in business or economy but charged in premium economy, bla bla.

I paid the seat reservation fee, filed a claim for a refund and it was refunded the day I landed in Japan.
