The BA SFO Lounge is ok. The First area is tiny and feels claustrophobic as opposed to exclusive. They have made upgrades over the years. I still miss boarding directly from the lounge….

I may be wrong but the staff there are, I believe, geared up to the international flights as opposed to your domestic flight.? Perhaps they were flummoxed as to why on earth you’d want to use this lounge if you have access to others?

On a personal level, staff and gatekeeper’s at SFO BA Lounge are always friendly, professional and, well, just nice people.

Edit: First area, was a separate room, is now a small dining area. It is small and not reflective of photography online from BA. It’s really small!
