Tried several options, one and two way, for one way I got increase from about 800e to 2000+ e as final price, when I chose return ticked it went from 1400e to 4000+ e. Funny thing is that it will show a breakdown and then the fare will be 4000e while hotel stopover will show as 25e or so. Fares without stopover are in range of 600-1500e, just a tad lower than what I get in first two steps of booking the stopover. I was looking for flights between EU and Asia. I do have some miles to burn which will effectively remove half of my ticket price if it stays normal. I was really looking to stay for few days and check out the city, but these prices are ridiculous, it definitely makes more sense to book normal ticket without stopover and book hotels on my own, but I won't do that out of the principle. They promote this as a cheap stopover with great value, then in the last step of booking add 2000e for a two day stay in a four star hotel. Anyone had similar experiences?

Ive found it far easier to book flights with stopover, then use DQ to book hotells. That way 2 nights in 4-star is aroynd £18 a night. You can only book a maximum of 4 nights, and the rate per night increases over 2, 3 and 4. night stays.

Unfortunately things are changing. They are inventing terms and conditions around the offer which dont exist in those T&C published on their website.

I think many will recognise that cavalier approach to marketing and customer service as pure QR
