Short/medium-haul business class reservations can hold a price and not ticket until 2 days prior to departure.
I also got this option for a ticket within Europe, in Economy, a few weeks ago, nevertheless it has to be ticketed 10 days before departure, or it will cancelled automatically.

IIRC it is the first time I have seen it when booking through the web.
