Entering my second year as President's Cub (thanks United). I had a one way IAD to DCA reservation this weekend. Avis tends to come out cheaper on one ways than Hertz and National.
I booked a Standard car and was assigned a Honda Accord. On arrival I checked the app to see what my swap options were. For the next half hour between landing and arriving at the rental lot I checked about a half a dozen times. I was eventually able to get a 21 Maxima with 22,000 miles on it and XM. The only other option was a 2018 Accord with 57,000 miles. I can't believe they even still have that car let alone are offering it to elites.
