mia that's what i was thinking about but couldn't remember the term "level 3." that's an interesting article in how it spells out what data are in levels 1, 2, and 3. I'm guessing that grocery stores here only give amex the level 1 data. why should they give points on taxes or gift cards. i would imagine that this will go away one day but until then, i will make use of it.
