The evening flight worked very well for me but now there is only the option of an early morning flight which makes my journey difficult for multiple reasons. Do you know when the evening flights will be reinstated?

As a consequence of the above, my layover in AUH will be either 8 hours 25mins or 15 hours 35 mins instead of the usual three to four hours. My frequent flyer status has now dropped down to Silver which means I now have to use the Al Reem Lounge. I seem to recall that only three hours access to the lounge is provided, or will I be able to stay the full length of my layover?

I also note that you no longer allow economy passengers to take a personal item (laptop bag in my case) into the cabin. We can only take a 7kg cabin bag. I have taken 50 Etihad flights and always put my laptop bag under the seat for easy access. Can I ask why this is no longer allowed? Whilst the checked-in allowance is generous, there are quite a lot of items that can't be checked-in due to being valuable, fragile, required for the journey or not allowed in the hold such as batteries etc. Etihad have only done this with economy passengers and it's a big restriction.
