I wasn't able to find a master thread for this property, so starting one.

I have an upcoming stay and notice this notice on my reservation page:
Please note - Check-in time is 3pm. Requests for an early check-in prior to 12noon are subject to a fee of USD 50.
I can't recall ever seeing this type of restriction before.

Guess I will camp out in the lobby until Noon, more out of principal than forking over $50, when other hotels grant early complimentary check-in, especially for status members if the room is available and ready.

Wonder if it would be worth a request thru Ambassador services for an exception? Anyone have experience with this?
(I am not in a position to request Your24, as I will not check out early this trip.)
