I'm afraid that's what needs to be done. It's especially an issue if it affects if and when you earn/re-earn or upgrade status (was a serious issue for me). Calling and calling got them to correctly assign my 2023 status but the MQMs and MQDs earned still reflect the old KL "discount economy" accruals. The more they're pestered with these time-consuming calls the more they'll have an incentive to fix the "known issue" as they put it.
KL has been officially offering Premium Comfort assigned as "A" fares since at least September 2022. Don't know why it's taking so long for DL IT to catch up.
The one person I know personally effected, told me DL blamed KLM. According to him DL stated that KLM wasn't sending through some piece of info. They didn't say what specifically was wrong info. Thus why I assume it has to do with ticket date, as that effects earnings. (Of course, can also be DL just making things up)
