I'm in the middle of a totally mind-numbing experience with PlatePass/Hertz. When I rented my car, I told the agent I wanted to use PlatePass on a per-toll basis and NOT pay the all-inclusive rate. They told me to go through the tolls and I would be charged $5.99 per day I went through a toll plus the highest toll rate per toll. I went through a single $1 total and expected to get a $5-$15 charge when the rental was over. Instead I got a $83.97 "all inclusive rate." I challenged this with Platepass and am also challenging this with Hertz. Any other advice?
