I'm betting that KL just isn't correctly reporting ticket date.
KL/AF fares don't have underlying coach fare basis classes and all PE fare filings are coded as W/S/A fare basis codes which match the booking class. This is purely an issue with DL's backend systems not having been updated to reflect these fare classes on KL are now PE fares instead of coach. They should be crediting like AF W/S/A classes which credit correctly.
