My fault, but the old world full body exam delayed me for about 10 minutes, much to the chagrin for those behind me in the queue.

I really like the classic Cabin design, but the inability for quick access has really deterred me from picking one up.
I generally take along a small personal item to hold miscellaneous items.

But I always take one of these bags (Original ChicoBag) along even if I don't have a personal item. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, or attach to your luggage tag or most luggage handles. I replaced the original carbineer with a heftier one,. I've been using these since 2013.

Before I go through security, I open the bag and take off my two waist money belts, a passport holder from around my neck, my watch, glasses and anything out of my pockets and place in this bag. I tie the bag close in a knot and it goes through the line scan unit behind my carry-on. I do this on every trip.

Besides that I always have a convenient reusable bag with me while traveling.

You can buy them in all colors including black. I use a red one while traveling so i can easily see it. Men and women use these. A man actually invented them.
