Just did a SIN to LAX/SFO in PE. Booked few months in advance for 1150usd, so it was a no brainer. I hadn't been on EVA before.

Seat did allow me to have a half decemt sleep...nice pillow and nice blanket plus sleepers. So I was not disappointed by the seat.

IFE, if you compare to QR and EK...yes they are mediocre.

I pre-order the food. On the two flights from SIN to LAX, the quality was super low...barely eatable. On the way back, it was actually half decent...but their F&B is clearly not great.

Will I do it again....for that price, for sure...for anything 25-30% or more over EK Y, no way!
