Thank you, bummer and a missed opportunity my book. Maybe the suites have onsen water for the tubs, but it actually doesn't seem like it plus that would be another (significant) step up in price. Not going to spring for that for sure.

So onsen will be the two public ones for guests I'm guessing. Both seem to be indoor ones (one cypress and one rock) and I would guess they alternate between male and female onsen day by day like IC Beppu does for the two (bigger) Onsen?
