When I first composed the post, I had the company name in it. After reading it, I realized that my accusation is pretty strong and I didn't want the thread to turn into either "Yeah, those guys are awful!" or "No, those guys never do stuff like that!" So I rephrased it a bit as an industry/location question. I don't think for a minute that the company I used is alone in this practice.

I can PM you the name if you like... I will say that it was one of the companies at the airport. I believe this is material because I don't think this con would work quite as well in broad daylight as it does in the dimly-lit and somewhat disorienting parking structure.
