Aisle seats are middle seats, the quads. I am on a classic fare.
I am now at 46 hours to the flight but online checkin is unavailable to me.
I have been able to choose my seats on all the other flights with no issue.
I checked on expertflyer and it seems like 3 window seats are blocked.
You did not reply about your fare bucket. If P you would have to pay for seat selection and probably no seats left for that.
QR40 is full in Y and very full in J, they probably keep the remaining seats for allocation at airport.
QR42 is very full too.
The 48h rule is approximate. Sometimes it opened to me only 36h before departure.
