Photos from my recent stay 25tn to 28th Jan
Hi,
Following on from my recent post re my stay here ( 25th to 28th Jan ) here are some photos . Had Rm 807 ( King Executive Plaza room)
View of bedroom area. Kettle was in the cupboard but had to put it on the desk to use it. Large enough room and bed was comfortable
Bathroom. Side strips on mirror and shaving mirror light up with separate switch to provide more light. Hand towel rack a bit awkward to use ( you have to put you hand under the counter). Bathrobe hanging up to the right. Shower out of shot to the left
Shower with the large bottles of C&E products. Not a rainhead shower.
Side view from Rm 807 on Saturday morning ( it had started snowing Friday night)
Straight front view of offices across the road from my room. Being a saturday the offices are closed but during the week it is all lit up.
Workstation area in Executive Lounge ( 2nd floor)
Beautiful old typewriter
Sitting area of the Executive lounge ( more seats to the left and behind closer to the food & drink location)
Part of the breakfast selection in Executive lounge
Fruit Juices & prosecco for breakfast. Hot food selection ( reasonable) on back counter
Coffee machine & fridges in lounge
Prosecco for Breakfast? Why not! Don't mind if I do!!. It was a very good prosecco for me ( a little bit sweeter than other proseccos that I have had but felt it was very good). Same type that they offered in Emile's at dinner ( Emiles also had more expensive champagne)
Beef consume at Emile's ( EUR 42 for three courses) Wide but shallow prosecco glass at rear
wiener schnitzel ( food was very good with good service)
Apple Strudel for dessert
Afternoon snack selection in the lounge ( chocolate, nuts, pretzels, crisps)
Sitting area beside the food & drink stations in the lounge
Full view of the dining area in the lounge
View of the lobby area from the executive lounge
St Stephen's cathedral in a light snowfall on Friday night
At the ice skating rink at the Rathaus just after the lights are turned on
Regards
