Flew MIA-JFK-BVT, ticketed by JetBlue but first leg on AA. JetBlue site says military leisure travel entitled to 2 free bags/person. AA said they wouldn’t honor and wanted to charge $70 for 2 bags above AA military allowance. After flight I contacted JetBlue via chat and was told a) they only give the military allowance on a MIL fare (we paid regular) and b) only on JetBlue metal. So much for seamless. JetBlue website only says CAC (ID) card is needed to get the allowance.
side note: bags were then left behind at JFK despite 2-hr connection and JetBlue failed to deliver the late baggage; we had to drive 2 hrs to pick up.
How many passengers were traveling? Of those, how many were members of the military? How many bags in total were checked? AA military baggage allowance here:

Google Maps says it's a 5.5-hour drive from BTV to JFK. Where did you drive from and to to pick up your bags? And did JetBlue say why they wouldn't deliver the bags to you?
