How many passengers were traveling? Of those, how many were members of the military? How many bags in total were checked? AA military baggage allowance here:

Google Maps says it's a 5.5-hour drive from BTV to JFK. Where did you drive from and to to pick up your bags? And did JetBlue say why they wouldn't deliver the bags to you?
