Back flying more frequently and have made four KL/AF bookings in the last 6 weeks. I've noticed that for 3 of the 4 bookings, I've been able to lock in the fare for a future date, at no cost. I had only ever seen this as a 12-40 GBP non-refundable option.

Not only has it been 0 GBP, the option needs to be taken by 72-48 hours prior to the trip. Effectively presenting cancellable fares, at low/reasonable prices.

​​​​​​Variety of bookings, one in WBC from EDI to Bangkok in December, only cost £3,000 so very happy not to have to pay for it for another 10 months, get cheap fare and be cancellable. Guess if I cancel, they will likely resell easily at same or a higher fare.
