That's crap if it's true, especially since it explicitly states:
- Membership expires one year from the date of processing. Memberships may be renewed online, at any Alaska Lounge location, or over the phone by calling Guest Care at 1-800-654-5669. Membership renewals can be made up to 60 days prior to membership expiration.
