Through-checking bags onto a BA flight - Do you need to be checked in ?
Flying with QR, connecting on a separate booking onto a BA flight .. QR should I believe check a bag through to BA ( I know the reverse isn't an option ) - would prefer to do this if possible, though no disaster if it isn't

Question is does it matter if you're checked in for the BA flight or not at the time you're asking QR to do this .. will be inside 24 h so could OLCI , but is it advisable to do it , or does it not matter ? What do QR need to do this .. booking ref , ticket number , or ?
