I called AGAIN on 2/7 and this time the Medallion agent fairly quickly worked with the Skymiles desk (took ONLY about 20 min) and came back to me and said, "we're awarding your Diamond status today and updating the miles awarded on your flights in January." I received an email confirming it minutes later and my new status is showing on the website and app. The MQD's from my KLM run still are not accurate and they said it may take a few more days. What I really cared about was getting the DM status, so I'm done with calling them. YAY! Would definitely think twice about ticketing on KLM again. Good luck!

As mentioned above they seem to have "awarded" me Gold but still haven't updated the correct amount of MQMs and MQDs earned on the December KL trip. The MQD's are somewhat irrelevant now - although I'd prefer a "legitimate" record showing I earned Gold status - but the extra earned 7k or so MQMs I'm hoping they credit as it will make a difference in rollover purposes next year.
While I too will think twice about using KL Premium Comfort "A" class again, I liked the KLM PC product and find it way better than those torture chamber shell seats AF subjects its PE passengers to. Really wish DL and KL fix this problem sooner than later as I don't want to go through this again.
