So the error is on the checkout page and it's a massive one.
Can be things like a mismatch in country where the card is used (IP), vs. given address, vs. the country where the card is issued. Just what the software designer considered a "good" check to avoid fraudulent charges.
Online payment verifications tend to be much stricter with these checks, than when you get a direct payment link.
Even, when the charge fails the first time, flags are set and all subsequent attempts also fail, whatever you try.
Use a VPN to get a Singapore based IP address and be surprised how many websites just refuse to serve you their pages.
Or, just a bug ......
