TK elite status is definitely something one can get bored of.
The E+ vouchers are great, but you need maximum flexibility these days (dates/route) to make any use of them.
Backtracking via IST to 2/3 of the world isn't on my "fun to do" list any more. Nor is ending up in a middle seat on UA Basic Economy or being denied lounge access by TAP.
Oneworld status is good enough for me. It was fun though... (of course I still have 3 years of Elite or higher with the soft landing...)
