Spoke way too soon. Ryanair cs rep assigned to handle this issue proceeded to gaslight me for over a month. Support thread over 20 emails long with all sorts of Kafkaesque reasons why the money cant be sent to me.
Tried to call customer service again, 1+ hour on hold, and when I finally gave them the case specifics - they hung up on me (twice!)
When all else failed, contacted one of the Ryanair vps directly. As a result today a short email from another cs rep, referencing the vp by name, includes a (very curt) apology and "your transfer has been successfully processed".
6 months and counting. Sure hope their management takes this to heart and cleans up their act.
