There is a significant business traffic between France & YUL year round, but the leisure market is huge, especially during the summer. YUL is the 2nd most important foreign station for AF (after JFK). When you look at the departure board in YUL in july or august, the number of flights to France is impressive. I remember one specific day (well before Covid), I counted 13 flights to Paris (CDG+ORY). And AF has the majority of market shares on this route. They have always been very successful in Québec. Now, with the nonstop flights to YQB and YOW, il will for sure cannibalise a bit their YUL flights.
