Yes and no, if you are the type that get up in the morning and spend all day in town then it's pretty manageable. But if you kind of drag your feet, hit breakfast right before it closes, and maybe have some jet lag issues then factoring in travel time to get to town then yeah it's going to be a bit constricting.

I'd say it probably depends on how long you are looking at staying...if it's just 2-3 days probably not worth it. If it's 5 or so, then yeah you could for sure make it work. I didn't feel like I missed doing anything in town. If you have status they do treat you good. I think I had a 100 kr gift card to use at the bar/restaurant downstairs and they put me on the very top floor of the hotel which only had two rooms on that level.
The giftcard (or bar/restaurant credit) from status sounds quite hospitable of them!
