I'm about to depart on a trip to Japan and Taiwan and I'm hoping some J tickets open up for my return trip. (They're booked in Economy with Aeroplan, but I'd like to upgrade.) If availability does open up, can anyone advise the best way to make those changes? The change should be covered under the now expired COVID policy, but I presumably need to actually reach a human. What's the best way to reach an Aeroplan operator from Taiwan or Japan - call the local call-centre? Long-distance to Canada? Does it matter? I don't have status.
