Flew on an A380 from LHR to JNB in December and checked in barely in time but headed to the lounge even if for soup, a sandwich and a coffee. Flight immediately delayed for an hour and when on board further delayed. Particularly surprised to hear the captain/co-pilot admit in exasperation that there were many faults and a number of engineers at work on them.
