Just made a March weekend reservation at Novotel London West (Hammersmith) using the 20% Spring Promo, which was not available for all room types, so I picked the Twin Room as it was the cheapest. I would have preferred a double bed room but it was not marked on the ALL website for the Promo, even though the normal rates had the Twin Room and the 1 Qn Bed roon at the same price. Is there a chance I will get a room upgrade (if it is considered an upgrade) to a Qn Bed room at check-in because I have Platinum status? Is it better to e-mail the hotel in advance to ask if an upgrade is possible or wait until check-in?
