There are only 10 (I think) A380s and they are heavily utilised. So, if one goes tech or has a heavy delay, it can take days for the schedules to recover. Or, a rotation is cancelled so that they can catch up.

For some reason, the BA A380s seem to have a lot a tech issues since they came back after Covid.
