I live in Ireland and Alot of transatlantic aircraft pass near me in both directions. I usually use flightradar 24 to see where the planes are going to and just to see what height they are at etc.

I've noticed that nearly all BAs A380s going to and from the US tend to be severely delayed since Xmas. Like it's not uncommon to see ones going to SFO that are 4/5 hours late. This never seems to be the case in routes operated by 777s.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Is it a case of Airports not used to 380s since covid or something else.

Would like to know why. Especially as I'm planning a trip to the west coast soon and don't want to get stuck in LHR for a night.
