Hi - apologies if this questions is posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find any info. Heading to Europe in May, probably multicity.

UA Platinum. Want to do mileage plus points for the flight out and then pay cash for the trip home so that I can use my Plus Points.

Is there a way to book this one record locator so that we don't pay through the nose for a one-way ticket home? I can't figure it out online. Would an agent be able to this?
