I experienced pre-clearance at Nassau a few years ago and like the Canadian airports that have it, it allows airlines in Nassau to serve many American cities that they couldn't otherwise.
Also, my recollection from a few years back is that the Port of Vancouver had pre-clearance when I boarded a 1-nt cruise to Seattle. I think cruises that originate in Vancouver headed to Alaska also use that benefit.
