Terminal D is the best option to get to E….IF:

1) You have PreCheck and don’t need to check a bag. In this case, it’s always a good option.

2) If you don’t have PreCheck, be careful between 2-5 pm (the busy time for long-haul D departures that clog security).

3) If you need to check a bag, the United counter is relatively small and the line is hit and miss with length. Even Premier Access can be slow.
